Hotel Casa Sofia - Antigua

The hotel features a charming courtyard area.

Unfortunately, the wifi connection was spotty in my room, quite frustrating as I needed reliable access for work. The noise level was a significant issue. Between street sounds and other guests, I often found it hard to relax or get a good night's sleep. I also encountered a few ants in my room during my first day, made me hesitant to keep food in the space.

The hotel is a serene escape with friendly staff. Jacqueline stood out.

The shower was a challenge with a super high head and no handheld option, making it difficult to use.

The staff were very amiable, nice location close to restaurants main tourist attractions of Antigua. Went to Fridas for drink or two, set within a close distance from the hotel...

The double room with a queen bed, great view, for instance. A huge variety of local options for meal. Cosy location super close to the hill with a viewpoint, easy to get around.

Beds were quite hard.

The room was cozy with a fantastic bathroom shelf for my things. I loved having clean water available anytime, and the rooftop terrace offered amazing views of Antigua. The staff kept the facilities sparkling clean.

This place was nearly charming, until I noticed the bugs in my room and the out-of-touch staff who couldn't provide a simple room upgrade. The dark atmosphere is unsettling, and I left each morning with a sore neck from the rock-hard pillows. I almost wrote a good review, but just couldn't.

Casa Sofia is a hidden gem with sparkling clean facilities and the warmest hospitality! The rooftop terrace offers amazing views of Antigua.

The room was cozy with a fantastic bathroom shelf for my things and I loved having clean water available anytime. Relaxing on the sun terrace and enjoying the garden made my downtime perfect. Just a heads up, there was a little mix-up with our room that was quickly sorted out, but it was a slight hassle after a long day. 🌼

Friendly staff and great rooftop views, but parking was limited.

The courtyard area is charming. I appreciated how the facilities were consistently sparkling clean, and the cute atmosphere. Being slightly outside the main center offered a perfect balance. It was easy to access the heart of town yet quiet enough to enjoy a restful night's sleep.

I did experience some spotty Wi-Fi connectivity, made working online a bit challenging.

The space was large and had a great shower with strong pressure. The bed was comfy. Plus, the hotel had unlimited access to drinking water, which I definitely appreciated! Friendly staff, and I loved the rooftop views. Just wish the Wi-Fi was more consistent!

great stay but noise is an issue

The rooftop terrace provided amazing views that were the highlight of my mornings. The facilities were super clean. The hospitality was really good. The staff were pretty good too make sure I was comfortable. I appreciated the warm welcome and the quick responsiveness when I needed assistance.

The noise from the street and other guests disrupted my sleep at times.
